Frequently asked questions
We have summarised the most common questions about the WUMS App for you
You can reset your password with your e-mail address using the following link: Reset password…
Your login details are your e-mail address and your password. You can reset the password yourself – via the link at the top of this list or in the WUMS Portal under “Forgot password”. If you no longer know your e-mail address or nothing arrives, write to us using the support form.
First check whether a newer version is available in the App Store or on Google Play and install it. If that does not help, close the app completely and start it again. If the problem persists, please contact us via the support form and choose the category “The app crashes” – describe as precisely as possible at which step the crash occurs.
An inspection can only be completed once all mandatory entries are filled in and the required photos have been taken. Scroll through the whole list once more – unfinished items stay without a tick. If it is still blocked, a stable internet connection usually helps, because the photos are uploaded when you finish.
First check your spam or promotions folder. If nothing arrives there either, the e-mail address on file may be wrong or out of date. In that case contact us via the support form with the category “E-mail notification does not arrive” so we can check the stored address.
Damage and vehicle condition are documented with photos in the WUMS App, not with text. Without camera access those photos cannot be taken – the app then shows an error message. You can grant access at any time in your phone’s settings.
The app needs an internet connection to sign in, load your orders and upload photos. If you carry out an inspection somewhere with poor reception, wait until you have signal again before completing it.
These are the statuses and what they stand for:
- 01 New (not yet collected). A new ticket, i.e. a new order, has been created.
- 02 Collected (under repair). The vehicle has been collected by the workshop and is currently being repaired.
- 03 Repaired (not yet returned). The vehicle has been repaired but not returned yet.
- 04 Returned. The vehicle has been repaired and returned, but not yet accepted.
- 05 Accepted. This vehicle has been accepted, all defects have been fixed.
The order goes to the workshop responsible for that particular vehicle – the assignment happens automatically via the vehicle and its location. The responsible workshop sees the order immediately in the WUMS Portal and changes its status there once the vehicle has been collected, repaired and returned.
You reach the WUMS Portal in your browser at portal.wumsapp.at. Sign in with your e-mail address and password, or via a login link sent to you. If you do not have access yet, please contact us using the support form.
We keep developing the WUMS App, refining it and adding new features. On average a new version is released once a month. That way you are always up to date!
